The first oxygenator with an integrated arterial filter, Synthesis inaugurates a new era in extracorporeal circulation.
From its conception, the arterial filter has given confidence to perfusionists by playing an essential role in cerebral protection and in preventing the risks of systemic embolization.
Synthesis’ 40-micron arterial filter is extremely efficient and can be continuously purged with negligible effect on arterial flow. Its linear (non-pleated) design allows faster priming and integration with the oxygenator dramatically simplifies circuit design and improves safety.
