The First Integrated Centrifugal Blood Pump
The Sorin Centrifugal Pump (SCP) is the hardware that drives the Revolution disposable pump. It integrates into both the S5™ and C5™ systems and interfaces with the pump's safety devices.
Safety devices such as low level, bubble, and retrograde flow alarms interface via the S5, C5, SIII ENCORE, SIII, and SCPC.
The integrated uninterruptible power supply (UPS) gives SCP users unparalleled convenience and peace of mind.
Because the SCP is integrated into both the S5 and C5, the mast-mounted SCP reduces console base size so that valuable OR space is conserved. A 3-joint hydraulic arm allows flexible setup and easy adjustment which can also help to reduce tubing lengths. The fast-clamp mast-mounting system and simple cable connections to the HLM make setup quick and simple.
