The “XXI^st European Days of the French Society of Cardiology” is attended by more than 9000 experts each year. From January 12^th to 15^th, all the most recent discoveries in the field of cardiac arrhythmias will be presented to a community of experts and will be discussed during the various scientific sessions.

The Sorin CRM symposia will be presented by an outstanding faculty team under the theme: optimization of device settings for resynchronized patients : have we made any progress? (Chairmen:  S. Boveda, Toulouse - J.C. Deharo, Marseille)

The following topics will be discussed under this theme:
• What do we do in practice? (D. Klug, Lille)
• Have we proved that systematic optimization could improve patient outcome? (C. Leclercq, Rennes)
• First results of automatic optimization : pathway to future? (P. Ritter, Pessac)
