Unnecessary ventricular pacing increases the risk of atrial fibrillation and heart failure hospitalization. SafeR is an algorithm found in the current REPLY DR model that ensures 99.9% intrinsic conduction, which, significantly reducing unnecessary pacing. SafeR reduces unnecessary right ventricular pacing in both Sinus Node Disease patients and unselected AV Block patients.
